What is Outreach?  As we strive to KNOW God so that we may GROW more like Jesus, we want to GO into our community and the world with the light and love of Jesus.  Outreach is the GO – always striving to be the “salty servant” (Matthew 5:13-16).  Just what is a salty servant?

For Jesus, the neighbor we should love is anyone in need.  We are sent out into the world (and our community) to follow Jesus beyond our comfort zones, as his hands and feet; light in the darkness.  We are sent out as ambassadors of reconciliation, agents of the Kindom.

We hold several events throughout the year that reach out to the families of Palm Bay and neighboring communities.  They include:  Easter Egg Hunt, Auction and Taste of Palm Bay, Back-to-School Bash, Pumpkin Patch and Trunk or Treat night.  We provide Thanksgiving dinners, as well as dinners and gifts for the children during Christmas.  We also maintain a small pantry that is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

We try to reach out to our community as mature followers of the one who came…”not to be served but to serve.”
